How to Take Great Damage Photos

Better photos lead to more accurate estimates. Here's what to capture:

Take photos in daylight or bright, even lighting — avoid harsh shadows

Photograph all four corners of the vehicle, even undamaged areas

Get close-up shots of every dent, scratch, or broken part

Include a photo of your license plate and VIN (dashboard sticker)

If airbags deployed or there is frame damage, note that in your message

Take photos before any temporary repairs are made
